Fantastic Concert to Lift the Sole

Christmas Concert 2016

After months of planning and many hundreds of hours of rehearsals our Christmas Concert took place in the National Concert Hall on Monday the 28th of November. The artists were superb and the audience extremely appreciative.

People came from far and wide and all for a great cause. A huge thank you must go to Michael Hilary for organising the event. We must also thank Colm O’Foghlu for his amazing compositions The Star of Bethlehem and The Island Lullaby. Also Lynn Hilary who enchanted us all with her Saturn Return Suite and her kind assistance with the entire concert.

A special thanks to the Boy and Girls of Cor Scoil Neasain and the ladies and gentlemen of the Concertina Cantando. The Orchestra of Ireland under the baton of Liam Bates, were simply superb and they were supported by the incredible Aoife Ni Bhrian on Fiddle and Niamh Ni Charra on Concertina.

The whole show was undoubtedly kept running smoothly by the outstanding and wonderful Eileen Dunne. And finally out Camphill Bells stole the show. These men and women were just amazing and uplifting and they lifted the roof in the Concert Hall.

Please let us know if wish to join us next year!
