Volunteering

The Camphill Jerpoint Community is always looking for motivated volunteers. Without its volunteers the community could never work the way it is. They are the essence of Camphill.

As a volunteer you are working together with people with special needs in the garden, the workshops or in the house. Most volunteers build up great personal relationships with the people they are working with. In the last few years we have developed a Community model which blends employment with Volunteering. You will be working alongside staff who are employed and don't live in. As Volunteers you will share life with the residents. You will live, eat and  possibly share some of your freetime together with the residents. This is quite a commitment but most volunteers are especially enjoying the social possibilities outside of work.

We presently have vacancies for enthusiastic Co-workers who are willing to join our vibrant team and life-share in one of our households.
